“A short trip to Russian avant-garde”

A brief trip to the first decades of the 20th century in Russia, 1910-1930, takes place at MOMus-Museum of Modern Art, through works of art from the Costakis collection of the museum. What was later called from art historians as the ”Russian avant-garde” was then a period of innovation in artistic perception and expression and is reflected in 47 works of its most important representatives, such as Ivan Kliun, Gustav Klutsis, El Lissitzky, Kazimir Malevich, Liubov Popova, Antonina Sofronova, Vladimir Tatlin, Nadezhda Udaltsova. The exhibition is supplemented with information about the collector George Costakis.
