Electronic sound, its history, its dimensions and connection with the present constitute the triptych of these seminar constituted of 4 lectures entitled “Experimental Sound Laboratory at MOMus – Museum of Modern Art – Costakis Collection Led by Andrey Smirnov”
The Thessaloniki Photobiennale is on its way, from October 10, 2023 until February 11, 2024, with more than 100 photographers from 18 countries participating and presenting their work in a multi-thematic programme of 25 exhibitions, open public events and educational programmes hosted in 19 museums, cultural venues and art venues in Thessaloniki and Athens.
MOMus is deeply saddened by the untimely death of the artist Ira Waldron. Her work has a unique style. With an insurmountable combination of humor and tragedy she constantly reminds us that life is widely separated from the visions of the wonderful world we dreamed of and that we cannot overcome the limits of the intellectual.

The horrible accident in Tempi leaves us shocked and saddened at MOMus for all the people who tragically lost their lives, for the injured who are fighting for their lives, for their families and loved ones who are grieving or being in agony.
Under the heavy three-day national mourning and with great respect for the common feeling of pain, we are modifying our activity regarding the scheduled program for March 4 & 5, 2023 for the opening of the central exhibition of the 8th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art entitled “Being as Communion”.
