New lecture dates and a workshop make up the new seminar cycle entitled "The Sound Machines of the Avant-Garde" that will take place at MOMus-Museum of Modern Art-Costakis Collection in Thessaloniki, led by Andrey Smirnov.

 

The meetings will be held in English, without interpretation, with registration and participation fee for those interested. Find below information on bookings and tuition fees.

Greetings for Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

 

All MOMus venues will remain closed on 25 & 26 December 2023 and 01 & 06 January 2024.

All venues will adjust the opening hours on 24 & 31 December 2023 and will be open to the public until 14:00.

*On 28 December 2023 and on 04 January 2024, MOMus-Museum Alex Mylona will be open to the public between 11:00-19:00.

The Thessaloniki Photobiennale is on its way, from October 10, 2023 until February 11, 2024, with more than 100 photographers from 18 countries participating and presenting their work in a multi-thematic programme of 25 exhibitions, open public events and educational programmes hosted in 19 museums, cultural venues and art venues in Thessaloniki and Athens.

MOMus is deeply saddened by the untimely death of the artist Ira Waldron. Her work has a unique style. With an insurmountable combination of humor and tragedy she constantly reminds us that life is widely separated from the visions of the wonderful world we dreamed of and that we cannot overcome the limits of the intellectual.
