Presentation of the results of the therapeutic photography program “FACES PHASES” MOMus-Museum of Photography of Thessaloniki (Warehouse A’, Pier A’, Port)

 

MOMus-Museum of Photography of Thessaloniki in collaboration with the Alternative Treatment Program for Addicted Individuals “ARGO” of the Psychiatric Hospital of Thessaloniki are organizing a speech event entitled “Paths to Purity” on Thursday 27 June 2024, at 19:00, at the Museum (Warehouse A, Pier A, Thessaloniki Port area).

 

The event is held on the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and is dedicated to the presentation of the results of the therapeutic photography program "FACES PHASES" which took place between March and June 2024 at MOMus - Thessaloniki Museum of Photography. The program is part of the pilot phase of the innovative Cultural Prescription program, which attempts to introduce Art as a therapy in Mental Health in our country and is implemented with funding from GREECE 2.0 under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.

 

The following will participate in the discussion:

Maria Kechagioglou, museologist and artistic manager of the "FACES -PHASES" action,

Stelios Giouzepas, clinical psychologist, scientific manager of the Alternative Treatment Program for Addicted Individuals "ARGO",

Beneficiaries of PETHEA "ARGO" who participated in the program.
